Writing for Fun:

Karen set and achieved the goal of running 50 races for 50 causes when she was 50. She’s currently writing a book about the experience, which she chronicled at InspiredMiles.com.

Karen Hendricks is honored to have had the opportunity to develop a revamped, magazine-style format for TheBurg Podcast, a product of TheBurg magazine, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, drawing on her 16 years of past experience in radio news.

As host and producer from March 2020 to March 2023, Karen grew podcast listenership, over the previous format, more than 500%. She also cultivated and secured numerous corporate sponsorship relationships. During the podcast’s three-year run, Karen received five prestigious podcast journalism awards, including:
