This amazing young lady, Miriam, was my marketing/PR intern for 3 years. Summer of 2016, we celebrated her milestones–earning her Ph.D. and landing her first full-time position in Washington, D.C.

A friendship forged on festivals: Years ago, when I organized downtown festivals for Main Street Gettysburg, which morphed into The Gettysburg Festival, I met Mary Beth–one of our most dedicated volunteers. In Sept of 2016, I had the pleasure of volunteering for Carlisle’s Harvest of the Arts organized by Mary Beth, via Carlisle’s Main Street organization. Isn’t life funny?!
